2017 Estate Planning Information Directed at Farm Families

HASTINGS — An upcoming event is designed to help farm families pass their business on to the next generation.

Mary Lanning Healthcare Foundation and Sterling Connection will host the lunch seminar on Nov. 17, at Mary Lanning Healthcare. Sponsors are Aurora Coop, Ag Resource Management, LLC, and Conway Pauley & Johnson PC. The event, in Conference Room #1, begins at 11;30 with registration and lunch.

At noon, Dr. Ron Hanson will present “Keeping Your Farm and Business in the Family for the Next Generation.” Hanson is Professor Emeritus from the College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He will discuss valuable information from case studies and offer resources to help farm families protect precious assets and relationships.

Lunch includes brisket, cornbread, pasta salad and seasonal cake. The cost is $15 per person. Reservations are required by Nov. 13.
